Jax Local Music is a Jacksonville-area local music discovery and promotional platform designed to help users find live music, discover artists and venues, and connect with music-related businesses and services. Jax Local Music is not liable for losses, missed events, travel costs, scheduling conflicts, business losses, ticketing issues, or other damages caused by inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete listing information.
3. User Submissions
Jax Local Music may allow users to submit events, listings, profile details, promotional copy, photos, logos, links, and other content for publication. By submitting content to the site, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the content or have the legal right and permission to submit it.
- The submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- The submission does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.
- The submission is not false, deceptive, unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or misleading.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit and for any consequences arising from that content.
By submitting content, you grant Jax Local Music a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, format, publish, display, distribute, and promote that content in connection with the website, social media, email marketing, advertising, and related business operations.

4. Paid Features, Sponsored Placements, and Promotional Services
Jax Local Music may offer paid listing upgrades, sponsored placements, featured event promotion, featured venue promotion, featured artist promotion, advertising, homepage placement, category placement, premium visibility, and other promotional services. These paid features are part of the site’s business model and may affect the order, prominence, placement, formatting, or visibility of listings and content on the site.
Payment for a featured listing, promotional package, sponsored placement, advertisement, or visibility upgrade purchases promotional exposure only. It does not guarantee attendance, leads, bookings, inquiries, traffic, sales, engagement, media coverage, or any specific business result unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement signed by Jax Local Music.
Jax Local Music reserves the right to label sponsored or paid placements in a manner it considers appropriate for transparency and site integrity.
5. Fees and Refunds
Unless otherwise stated in writing, all fees paid to Jax Local Music for digital listings, featured placements, advertising, promotional upgrades, and similar visibility services are non-refundable once the listing, advertisement, campaign, or placement has been published, scheduled, processed, or materially started.
If a paid listing or placement is removed because the submitter provided false information, unauthorized content, infringing material, misleading claims, or content that violates these Terms, Jax Local Music may remove the content without refund.
Jax Local Music may, but is not required to, issue a credit, partial refund, rescheduling option, or substitute placement at its sole discretion in limited situations such as technical publication failure caused solely by Jax Local Music.
6. No Ticketing or Event Guarantee
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Jax Local Music is an informational and promotional platform and is not the event organizer, venue operator, performer, booking agent, ticket seller, or ticket processor for the events listed on the site.
If the site links to tickets, reservations, RSVP tools, social pages, or third-party event platforms, those transactions are handled entirely by third parties and are subject to their own terms, fees, refund rules, and policies.
Jax Local Music does not guarantee admission, pricing, event quality, safety, legality, artist appearance, schedule accuracy, or the conduct of any venue, promoter, sponsor, performer, or attendee.
7. Intellectual Property
All original content on the site, including branding, logos, site design, text, original graphics, original photos, original videos, curated database structure, and editorial presentation, is owned by or licensed to Jax Local Music and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, republish, reproduce, scrape, distribute, sell, or exploit any substantial portion of the site or its curated content for commercial use without prior written permission.
Third-party names, logos, event names, artist names, venue names, trademarks, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on the site does not imply ownership, endorsement, or affiliation unless expressly stated.

The site may contain links to third-party websites, ticketing providers, maps, social media pages, sponsor sites, venue websites, artist pages, and other outside services. 9. Right to Edit, Refuse, or Remove Content
Jax Local Music reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to edit, reformat, shorten, categorize, reject, suspend, or remove any listing, submission, advertisement, review, image, or other content for any reason, including quality control, brand fit, legal risk, duplication, spam prevention, user complaints, policy violations, or business reasons.
This right applies to both free and paid content. Paid status does not prevent removal when content violates these Terms or creates legal, reputational, operational, or quality-control concerns.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
This site and all listings, content, features, and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jax Local Music disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that the site will always be available, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jax Local Music and its owners, operators, affiliates, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, business opportunity, data, goodwill, travel cost, ticket cost, revenue, or other losses arising out of or related to the use of, or inability to use, the site.

If liability is found despite these limitations, the maximum aggregate liability of Jax Local Music for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you directly to Jax Local Music, if any, for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the claim arose.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Jax Local Music and its owners, operators, affiliates, contractors, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your submissions, your listings, your promotional content, your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another party.

Your use of the site may also be subject to the Jax Local Music Privacy Policy, if posted. That policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14. Changes to the Site or Terms

We also reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions by posting a revised version on the site. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the site shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts located in or serving Duval County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
